Thirty three Piedmont Friends–adults, children and young adults–gathered in Greensboro for fellowship and a family-friendly guided tour of the museum to learn about the impact of the 1960 Sit-In Movement. The weather offered a picture-perfect autumn day for fellowship and picnicking in City Center Park before the museum tour. Friends from Friendship Friends Meeting, who are quite familiar with the Civil Rights Museum, joined in the fellowship of Friends at the park, as well.
